IMPACT OF TALENT MANAGEMENT, AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ON JOB SATISFACTION: EVIDENCE FROM SOUTH EAST ASIAN INDUSTRIES

Abstract
This study aimed to measure the effect of authentic leadership and talent management on job
satisfaction of the employee of an automotive industryin South East Asian which are mediated by employee
engagement. Data collection was done by simple random samplingtechniqueto 391 population of an automotive
industry employees. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 215 samples. Data processing was used
SEM method by SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that talent management have a
positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through mediating employee
engagement. Meanwhile, authentic leadership have not significant effect on job satisfaction, both directly and
indirectly through mediating employee engagement. This new research proposed a model for building the job
satisfaction among the automotive industry employees in South East Asian through enhancing talent
management with employee engagement as a mediator. This research can encourage to improve employee
readiness in facing the industrial revolutuion 4.0 era
