LIBRARY STUDENT USERS INFORMATION LITERACY: A CASE STUDY

Abstract
Due to the technology advancement in India, degree college libraries of all academic institutions have improved information literacy among the students to improve their knowledge and skills. It has become more important to the students have the awareness of good foundation in the information literacy to allow them maximum opportunities. This case study observes information literacy skills among the library and information literacy skills (LIS) pointing out the benefits and makes recommendations to improve the Library studentsí information literacy in the degree colleges, in the area of Visakhapatnam, state of Andhra Pradesh.
