ATTENDANCE SYSTEM USING FACE RECOGNITION:

Abstract
Face recognition is the new technology being explored these days by many individuals for its many benefits including use of facial technology for attendance and some other uses such as surveillance, criminal identification, etc.Faces have been used by humans for identifying other humans similarlycomputers can use specific set of algorithms to identify humans. Face recognition can be used to identify individuals and capture their images and thus improve surveillance, also face recognition algorithms can be combined together with simple neural networks to improve their accuracy though the speed will be reduced. Algorithms such as yolo, CNN can be used to improve accuracy. With proper labelled dataset it is possible to detect faces easily and labelling dataset can be done automatically or manually. Simple patterns can be understood to detect humans from an image and identify them. Proper thresholds can be used to improve accuracy.
