Abstract
The porous media plays vital role in today typical application by replacing conventional material structure approach. From Bio industry to aerospace industry, engineering industry to pharmaceutical industry the typical desire characteristic requirement required for satisfaction of desired field canít be fulfil by conventional structure approach. In the paper, porous media critical review is presented. The flow through porous media either saturated porous media (SPM) flow or Unsaturated Porous media (USPM) flow majorly depend upon the types of packing. The focus covered in the paper is different packing of mono-size spherical shape particle either random order or disorder.

Key words: SPM, USPM, Applications
