Dr. Reena (Mahapatra) Lenka.

Abstract
Today, in this jet set world the result oriented new generation seems to be running at a break neck speed with the intention of achieving everything like money, position and fame in the shortest possible time. If not achieved as visualized by the go-getters leads to impatience, intolerance, frustration, de motivation and stress. This mentality of the younger generation forces them to continuously search for challenging and result oriented jobs. This situation leads to frequent job change. This leads to increased rate of employee turnover, less employee engagement, less motivation and less employee satisfaction. This is an alarming state in the job market and challenging for the HR manager. The organization suffers as without right person at the right place it becomes very difficult for the organization to meet its objective. The deadlines are not being fulfilled at the right time as less people are there and are overburdened with work. This hampers the performance of the employee and leads to dissatisfaction, less employee engagement, no career development and no benefit from the company as company is getting less financial benefit and hence leads to increased employee turnover. This type of situation can be easily handled if HR manager gets enough time to plan a custom-made policy according to the required organization regarding proper selection, recruitment, employee engagement, performance management and career development of the employees. Here predictive analytics plays a major role which like artificial intelligence takes help of machines and studies the pattern of data. This study helps the HR manager to get an insight of what the employee is thinking like whether he is planning to quit or he is de motivated or he is satisfied or whether his promotion is due and so on. The main aim of this paper is to throw light on the fact that Predictive analytics is actually a game changer and should be embraced with open arms. Predictive analytics is so very powerful that with its help any HR manager of any sector has the ability to transform the entire organization to be a better and happy place to work by taking better employee friendly decisions in terms of recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, career development, less employee turnover and lead to job satisfaction.

Key words: Selection, recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, career development, employee satisfaction, employee turnover.
