A study on Intellectual Capital and organizational success

Abstract
Today internet has a dynamic impact on every industry in the tremendous improvement in various kinds of services and operations offered by them. The new medium of adoption of internet across business verticals like recruitment, education, real estates, food and matrimony etc. is disrupting the way organizations carry out the businesses. But deploying the latest technology and internet for several product streams are not the only success factor for the growth of organization. Company’s Intellectual Capital(IC) is vital for their competitive advantage. The aim of this paper is to study the empirical association between the components of Intellectual Capital and its impact on organizational sustainability. The study provides a useful insight as how the Intellectual Capital especially human capital contributes for achieving sustainability of organization. To carry out this study, Value Added Intellectual Capital (VAIC) model has been used. The Study is carried out for the period of 9 years from 2009-10 to 2018-19 and it is found that,out of the three performance indicators of sustainability (Return on Assets, Productivity and Sales Growth) a significant relationship between Human Capital and Return On Assets of the company is contributing morein order to achieve the sustainability of the organization.
