Anukriti Kacker, Suryansh Chauhan, Gaurav Ramtri.

Abstract
The backbone for the survival of any country is undoubtedly the Economy. When someone hears the term Economy, the things that come to their mind
would be trading, stock markets, foreign investments, or even the budget, but what the significant population fails to understand is the use and
importance of Economic activities and their contribution to the welfare and the development of the country. Currently, the whole world is amidst an
economic lockdown, which has resulted in a loss in almost every sector of the Economy. The sectors most affected by the econo mic lockdown, which is a
result of the meteoric spread of the novel coronavirus, include Micro Small Medium Enterprises(MSME), Tourism and Hospitality, Real Estate, Aviation,
Travel sector, etc. Even out of these, the impact on MSME is much higher because 99.5% of these enterprises are Micro, which work on such a small scale
individually that they cannot survive a two-month lockdown. They cannot even take benefits of the government schemes since many are unregistered.
They are significant contributors to India's economy by creating and exporting the goods to various other nations. It is estimated that India has suffered a
loss of roughly 30.3 Lakh crore, which is equal to roughly 13.5% of the Indian Economy. This paper aims to give an insight into how COVID-19 has
affected the Import and Export of India and its effect on the Indian Economy.

Key words: Economy, Covid-19, Coronavirus, Import, Export, MSME, GDP
