KEY RETENTION STRATEGY – POST COVID 19 A PROSPECTIVE OF HOTEL CHAIN IN DELHI- NCR REGION

Abstract
Tourism constitutes 10% to Indiaβ€Ÿs GDP . This is no small amount and will require a joint plan
by the government and the industry to overcome the havoc caused by Covid-19. The Human resource of the
hotels forms the most valuable asset. It is the human resource that contributes directly or indirectly to the
achievement of organizational goals. For this reason, every hospitality Organization is striving hard to attract
and retain talents to attain a competitive advantage post covid 19. But today every hospitality organization is
facing a high attrition rate of employees. Top Hotel – Chain give priority to employees' wellbeing . The reason
for attrition differs from hotels to hotels. All hospitality organization adopts different retention strategies to
retain their talents. One of the most significant obstacles hotels will have to overcome is regaining guest
confidence in the safety, health and hygiene standards maintained by hotels. The main objective of this study is
to know the strategies adopted by hotels to retain their talents post COVID 19 .
