THE EFFECT OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING: A STUDY OF HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IN QUANGNINH PROVINCE, VIETNAM

Abstract
The paper examines how the role of mediation types of innovation (product innovation/service, innovation process, innovation organizational and innovation marketing) impacts the relationship between knowledge sharing (KS) and organizational performance. The paper uses WarpPls 6.0 to analyses the data of 105 questionnaires which to be sent directly to the main managers of hotels that were rated at three, four or five stars in Quangninh province, Vietnam.
The results indicate that KS had a significant positive effect on organizational performance and the types of innovations at the hotels. A positive and significant influence is also shown in the relationship between the types of innovations and organizational performance. Additionally, the types of innovations positively and significantly mediate the relationship between KS and organizational performance.
