PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF A BOOST CONVERTER- SVPWM INVERTER SYSTEM UNDER DIFFERENT MODULATION INDEXES, AND LOADING CONDITIONS

Abstract
A Boost converter is a commonly used topology mainly implemented in renewable energy systems. The topology always boosts the voltage at the input with an increased voltage gain. Since it is a DC-DC converter several inverter topologies are also coupled with the boost converter system to couple the power supply system to ac drives. The paper focuses on a system which has Boost topology coupled with the SVPWM Inverter. The performance of the system is analyzed under different modulation indices of the SVPWM and the analysis on the basis of different loading conditions like RL- Passive load and RLC- Passive load is also done.
