GREEN MARKETING A TRENDING FACTOR IN MODERN WORLD

Abstract
In the recent decades, the green products has developed its own way of importance as a eco-friendly approach for conserving the natural eco-system and selling of such eco-friendly products are named as sustainable marketing. The Sustainable marketing has also gained a giant importance due to effervescent increasing environment perception among consumers internationally. This study is a review paper describing about evolution and basic concepts pertaining to the selling of sustainable products/services. This study also explains about the sustainable green products/services and their classifications. This study reviews some factors of green consumerism and classification on sustainable consumerism towards eco-friendly product awareness, which benefit the consumers for achieving a sustainability of environment. The key advantages and limitations on sustainable product selling have been analyzed. Some of few sustainable product promotion initiatives made in India are been illustrated.
