K. Sridhar, Dr. Aluvala. Ravi.

Abstract
It‟s the need of the hour for India, It has been a vision, mission, and action plan; Financial
Inclusion has been the buzz word in every year‟s annual financial plan of the country. Financial Inclusion has
been the prime consideration for all policies of Finance Ministries of Centre and State. Financial Inclusion has
been the helping hand to that bottom of the period community to slightly move up and look at the options
available for them to grow and live a life. Governments of State and Central have been pulling up various cards
as initiatives to push financial inclusion on to the track and put it as a forerunner for development. The
initiatives include No Frills accounts, BSBDA Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts, LBS Lead Banking
Scheme, PMJDY Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, and the most vigilant, important, and contributing Business
Correspondent System. Despite all these efforts and initiatives, there has been a lot of lack of awareness among
rural poor, lack of information on the developments and policies available for their well being and even there is
a lack of awareness on the awareness programs. There is a huge gap between what governments intend to do
and what is being done. Understanding the demographic dividend of the nation, it is not that easy to push such
policies forward, yet when it is the only hope and scope there is a lot effort that is needed from the Banking
domain in taking forward the most useful system as Business Correspondents. By all means, the support given
to the channel of business correspondents is the only way to move forward and reach the peak of Financial
inclusion

Key words: Financial Inclusions, BSBDA, NFA, LBS, PMJDY, Business Correspondents, Demographic Dividend
