ANTI-THEFT PROTECTION OF VEHICLES BY TWILIO CLOUD AND GPS WITH FACE RECOGNITION

Abstract
Now a days we are approaching vehicle tracing and surveying system which is used for
monitoring a vehicle from one location to any other location at real time, so a prototype is designed for this
purpose to protect a vehicle from theft. Here the system is designed with raspberry-pi controller which has the
facility of memory to store database. Camera is the input to the controller to recognize the images. If the camera
recognizes the unauthorized person, the GPS module identifies the location of the vehicle sends an e-mail and
SMS to the registered mobile number through twilio cloud. By increasing the vehicles on road day by day the
vehicle theft crimes are being increasing. So vehicle manufacturer takes several measures to avoid vehicle theft.
