ROLE OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE WITH REFERENCE TO ISLAMIC BANKS – YEMEN

Abstract
The purpose of the paper: To identify the important and effective role that human resources
management plays through its functions in the organizational performance of Islamic banks in the Republic of
Yemen. Objective of the research: This paper attempts to identify the role that human resource management
functions play in the overall organizational performance in the context of Islamic banks - the Republic of
Yemen. Moreover, he tries to know the role of the selection and appointment process in the organizational
performance and study whether there are difficulties in using the functions of human resources management in
the organizational performance in addition to knowing the size of coordination and cooperation between the
higher departments and the human resources departments in the Islamic banks - the Republic of Yemen.
This paper attempts to define the functions of human resource management, which in the current era is
considered one of the most important contemporary management methods, as it is a necessity to survive in the
face of intense competition that has become one of the features of the modern market and it will measure the
role of human resource management functions in organizational performance with reference to Islamic banks in
the Republic Yemeni in particular.
Study sample an experimental study was conducted with the largest number of five Islamic banks in the
Republic of Yemen. Descriptive and analytical approach was used in this study. Data were collected using a
questionnaire and then analyzed using the (SPSS) program. The study allowed the researcher to study the results
of the role and functions of human resources management on the organizational performance of Islamic banks in
the Republic of Yemen, in addition to knowing the extent of coordination and cooperation between higher
departments and human resources departments in the Islamic Republic. Banks - Republic of Yemen. The study
found a set of results, among which is that the recruitment and selection process has an impact on the
organizational performance of Islamic banks in the Republic of Yemen, and the functions of human resources
management in Islamic banks in the Republic of Yemen play an important and effective role in the
organizational performance and human resource departments in formulating human resources policies. Its
processes and procedures. With regard to Islamic banks in the Republic of Yemen, and contributing to
rationalizing decisions related to evaluating the performance of workers in Yemeni Islamic banks, the Human
Resources Department in Islamic banks in the Republic of Yemen applies the rules and regulations in the bank
and has experience and specialization in that. In addition, the top management in Islamic banks is satisfied with
the efficiency and ability of the human resources department to perform tasks and jobs efficiently and
effectively, and the top management in Islamic banks cooperates with the human resources department in
addressing the difficulties and obstacles they face in order to achieve the bank’s goals, and there is coordination
and cooperation between Administration and management of human resources in Islamic banks in the Republic
of Yemen
