PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF DIFFERENT MACHINE LEARNING TECHNIQUES FOR PREDICTION OF DIABETES

Abstract
Machine Learning Algorithms analyzes the data in the data set and predicts the outcome. Now a days machine
learning and Artificial intelligence are widely using for medical research topics and used to provide solutions
based on the existing data sets globally. In the field of Health sciences large health datasets are accessed from
different data repositories which can be used in real world application. This data sets become base for analyzing
disease information and providing solution across pervasive computing environments. Now a day Machine
Learning (ML) provides solutions to several questions. One of the missions is prediction of disease from data.
Diabetes disease is one of most common disease in our modern life suffered by 20 to 30 % population globally.
Different researchers used different ML techniques at different times to predict medical data. In our current
study different classification techniques such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, Decision Tree and SVM which are already
well proved algorithms, are applied for classification of diseases symptoms and provide an accurate result for
predicting the diabetic information based on various high dimensional datasets. The Training Data of Diabetes
classify, diagnose , provide accuracy of Algorithms with python Machine learning modules like pandas,
sklearn,Seaborn.
