COMPREHENSION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL ENTROPY IN THE CLOUD COMPUTING ECOSYSTEM

Abstract
Several parameters influence developing customer satisfied products. Designing an apt and flawless architecture for any product is one such parameter. In this fast-paced world, software development teams have the responsibility to quickly deliver value to their customers. In this pursuit, there are various
occasions when the team has to opt for quick-and-dirty solutions. In these situations, it is important to adopt a diligent and pragmatic approach to handle technical debt issues. The paper put forth a comprehension about architecture entropy, its impact on the quality of the system. The paper further includes case studies performed in leading software industries where architecture entropy is studied in cloud-based applications and its impact is analyzed. It enables one to frame appropriate tactics to resolve or overcome entropy and its associated issues in the system.
