    Abstract

The transmission of images is a significant and complex undertaking that requires enhanced security measures. Cryptanalysis refers to the procedure of ensuring secure transmission of data through the utilization of techniques such as scrambling and jumbling. This technology has a wide range of applications in several domains, including but not limited to military, medical, satellite, and web-based contexts, where maintaining confidentiality is of paramount importance. In this study, a unique cryptanalysis scheme is presented, which incorporates logical scrambling and histogram matching techniques to enhance security. The method under consideration demonstrates a high level of adaptability for real-time applications, owing to its convenient accessibility and minimal storage requirements. An experimental study was conducted on a range of test photos, including those from medical and satellite sources, as well as a limited number of real-life images. The analysis involved comparing the original images with the decrypted images using both histogram matching and subtraction techniques.
