Abstract
English proficiency is key for overseas students' social integration and professional possibilities in addition to being essential for academic achievement. International students face additional difficulties in improving their English communication abilities due to cultural and contextual issues. These cultural, linguistic, and psychological barriers that overseas students must overcome can all have a substantial negative impact on their ability to communicate in English and can make it difficult for them to integrate into both the academic and social settings. Identifying and resolving these issues is essential to creating solutions that will enhance the language learning and general wellbeing of overseas students. Their ability to communicate in English allows them to overcome cultural barriers, have meaningful conversations, and support a more diverse and inclusive society.
