Abstract

Causes of pituitary dwarfism inc lude congenital causes, genetic mutations and acquired causes. Symptoms of pituitary dwarfism are physical symptoms, metabolic symptoms, psychological as well as emotional symptoms and other associated symptoms. Diagnosis of pi tuitary dwarfism include clinical evaluation, hormone testing, imaging studies, bone age assessment and genetic testing. Differential diagnosis of pituitary dwarfism are growth hormone deficiency (GHD), constitutional growth delay (CDG), chronic illness and genetic syndrome.
