    Abstract

    Gigantism is a rare endocrine disorder manifested by excessive growth in children and adolescents due t o an iverproduction of growth hormone. Genetic mutations also lead to gigantism. Symptoms include facial changes. Large habds as well feet, nuscle weakness, cardio vascular issues, joint problems. Diagnosis involves measurimg th e level of GH and IGF 1. Treatment concludes surgical reboval of the tumor, medications, long term follow Up as well as hormone replacement treatment (HRT).
